What is the expected lifespan of Structex?
The material can be used for many different applications. For each application, the lifespan is different. When used indoors, the material will last for years. However, light can affect it. The material is not suitable for outdoor use.
There are creases in my fabric, how do I get them out?
That's easy! You can iron the material on the wool setting. Structex is heat-resistant but you can put a tea towel in between to be sure.
What is the best way to clean this fabric?
With warm water and a fibre cloth. Structex can also be washed at 30 degrees.
What printing technique do you use for this material?
The sublimation printing technique! We first let the inks dry thoroughly and then heat them at a high temperature of 180 to 200 degrees. This intertwines the inks into the fibres of the fabric and the colours come out very beautifully.
Moreover, the water-based ink is odour-free. Please note that the ink is not UV light-resistant. Therefore, use Structex only indoors.
